The Thornhill African Caribbean Canadian Association TACCA) is a non-profit multicultural, multiracial organization which consists of members from diverse backgrounds and ethnicities from Canada and all the Caribbean Islands. The group is also cross generational with members from sixteen to over eighty.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH CELEBRATIONS
Attended the Black History Month event by the York Regional Police, they are promoting a very positive outreach in the community. Our organization TACCA work closely with the YRP to promote positive relations within the community. Our children will benefit from this liaison.

The annual church Christmas dinner at the Hilton Hotel. It was all bling, good food and enjoyable entertainment.

The world stopped spinning, everything went on the back burner, all else became insignificant. when the prince made his entrance at 10:30 am on August 19th., 2016 and everything paled in comparison to this bundle of joy.

TACCA 11th., ANNIVERSARY GALA
Thornhill African Caribbean Canadian Association (TACCA) held their 11th Anniversary Gala on Saturday. I am very happy to say I am now a member of this organization. They have implemented many programs for the youths including a Scholarship Awards Program as they believe educating our youths should be societies top priority. Five scholarships were awarded on Saturday night to students. TACCA work in partnership with the York Regional Police.

A RAINY PICNIC
In spite of torrential rain we all had an enjoyable time at the picnic. It only goes to show attitude is everything and circumstances and situations have no power to dictate our lives.
